Israel resumed the Erez crossing with the Gaza Strip on Sunday after almost fourteen days of conclusion, Anadolu reports.

Keeping the intersection open “will be conceivable as per situational evaluations and the protection of safety security,” Israel’s tactical contact to the Palestinians, known as COGAT, said in an explanation.

The return of the terminal will permit around 12,000 Palestinian laborers with grants to cross into Israel for work.

On May 3, Israel shut the Erez crossing alongside different terminals in the midst of developing strains across the Palestinian domains over Israeli capture crusades in the West Bank and pioneer attacks into the flashpoint Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in involved East Jerusalem.

In March, the Israeli government said it would raise the number of work grants to Palestinians to 20,000, as per Israeli media.
