Erdogan to meet with Saudi Crown Prince to resuscitate ties

Turkiye’s President, Tayyip Erdogan, is arranging a visit to Riyadh on Thursday in a push to retouch ties, Anadolu News Agency reports.

As per the report, Erdogan will meet King Salman receptacle Abdulaziz to reinforce exchange with Saudi Arabia as Turkiye’s ongoing financial emergency costs him support in front of races booked for the following year.

“Turkiye and Saudi Arabia will try to foster all parts of relations between the two nations during the visit and trade see on provincial and worldwide issues,” Erdogan’s office said in an explanation on Thursday.

Likewise, Treasury and Finance Minister, Nureddin Nebati, said on Wednesday that he examined ways of working on financial participation between the two nations in an internet meeting with his Saudi partner, Mohammed Al-Jadaan.

Shipments dropped to Saudi Arabia, when a critical market for Turkey before Saudi writer, Jamal Khashoggi, was killed in Istanbul in 2018.

Turkiye, this month, finished its preliminary over the killing of Washington Post editorialist, Jamal Khashoggi, by Saudi specialists on Turkish soil. Its choice to move the case to Saudi Arabia eliminated a critical deterrent to further developed ties and Erdogan’s visit.
