Iraq imports oxygen from Turkey as Coronavirus cases rise

Iraq has begun to import oxygen tanks from Turkey following an outstanding expansion in Covid contaminations, the Ministry of Health reported yesterday.

“In the course of recent weeks, the nation enlisted in excess of 9,000 everyday diseases, following quite a while of reliably recording 4,000–5,000 new cases a day,” the service’s public facilities office head, Mohamed Al-Fartousi, told an authority INA.

“As the contamination rates increment, Iraq had to import oxygen from Turkey through the Kurdistan district,” Al-Fartousi said. He didn’t give insights regarding the all-out volume of imported oxygen.

Iraq has been experiencing a helpless medical services foundation because of many years of progressive conflicts and widespread debasement.
