Israel stops mosque development in Jerusalem

Israel yesterday halted work on the development of a mosque in involved East Jerusalem’s Issawiya area, Safa news organization detailed.

Furnished Israeli police assaulted the Palestinian area and presented a request to stop the development of the Al-Taqwa Mosque.

Palestinian extremist Mohammed Abu Hummus let Safa know that the Israeli occupation requested that development be halted under the appearance that the mosque had no structure license.

He noticed that the Israeli occupation specialists had wouldn’t give a structure permit for the mosque which is desperately required nearby.

Issawiya is home to approximately 20,000 Palestinians who live under steady Israeli police observing, with Israeli military vehicles an ordinary reality in the roads, and police drones flying overhead.

The town experiences a helpless foundation and occupants are continually irritated by Israeli occupation specialists, who will not give the structure grants to consider normal development.

Privileges bunches have since a long time ago called attention to that Israel’s prejudicial arrangements against Palestinians in involved Jerusalem, including routine home tear-downs, oppressive assignment of building licenses, and powerful ejections of Palestinians from their homes.

Safa announced that Issawiya’s region has declined from 12,500 dunams (12.5 square kilometers) in 1967 to just 2,400 dunams (2.4 square kilometers) in 2021 because of Israel’s approaches.
