Israeli soldier shoots Palestinian youth in the head

A Palestinian youth was shot in the head by Israeli soldiers in the northern West Bank on Wednesday, an eyewitness said, Anadolu reported.

In a conversation with Anadolu agents, the witness said the young man was injured during a protest by residents of the town of Beita in the Nablus area against the establishment of a residential post on their land in Jabal Sabih.

The injured are said to have been taken to hospital in a “critical condition”.

International law treats the West Bank and East Jerusalem as Occupied Territories and considers any activity to establish Jewish settlements there as illegal.
