Palestine Journalists Syndicate calls for broad communications to blacklist PA

Following brutal hostility against writers, the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate approached Sunday for public and worldwide broad communications to blacklist the Palestinian Authority (PA’s) administration and government.

In an articulation, the organization called for PA Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh to fire the Palestinian police boss for not managing the cost of assurance to writers, restricting them from covering the counter PA dissents, and permitting secret powers to assault them.

The organization called for indicting the aggressors and requested that Shtayyeh apologize to columnists and to vow to regard their work and opportunity of articulation.

In the event that the PA’s hostility on writers proceeds, the organization cautioned, different measures would be taken meanwhile.

The organization likewise called for dissidents not to badger columnists or subvert their work as: “They are simply correspondents, not piece of the occurrences.”

The organization attested that it would begin documenting criminal grumblings against those associated with the assaults against columnists.
